Chiropractic medicine is a health care profession that focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, and the effects of these disorders on general health. Chiropractic services are used most often to treat neuromusculoskeletal complaints, including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and headaches

Massage is the manipulation of soft tissues in the body. Massage techniques are commonly applied with hands, fingers, elbows, knees, forearms, feet, or a device. The purpose of massage is generally for the treatment of body stress or pain

Dr. Ijomah received an Associate of Science from Manchester Community College, a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Connecticut, and a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine degree from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic. Dr. Ijomah is an active member of the American Chiropractic Association, Connecticut Chiropractic Association, First Chiropractic Physican Association of America, and is a passionate advocate for the advancement of chiropractic medicine. He strongly believes that understanding the root cause of a problem through thorough diagnoses leads to effective treatment or management of that problem, rather than simply treating the symptoms. Dr. Ijomah is also an adjunct professor at Goodwin College and Quinebaug Valley Community College where he teaches Anatomy & Physiology. He enjoys mountain biking and spending time with his family
